Autumn Welcome Party

Thank you for the sweet time you spent joining the Spring Welcome Party. It is so happy for us to welcome all you guys. We will keep you posted on our progress and hope you can visit 105 and our next events again soon.

Hello everyone!
105 will hold our Welcome Party 2016 as we do every year!
Come make new friends! Please join even if you aren't confident in your Japanese or English. All international students and Japanese students are welcome. Funny games, food and drinks are provided. Why don't you join us?

We really thank you for coming to our Barbecue Party. Otsukaresama.

Thanks for the great weather, we had a great time yesterday. The food was so delicious and the games were so interesting that I hope all of you have enjoyed yourselves.

There were also some guys that got completely soaked. Did these guys have a good rest? Hey don't be loose to manage your body and don't get a cold. 

Well though the barbecue is done we still have a lot of events ready to hold. Just feel free to come to 105 and let's have fun together!

天気にも恵まれて、楽しい１日を過ごしましたね。食べ物も美味しかったし、ゲームもおもしろかったし、お腹も心もいっぱいになりましたね！

びしょびしょになった人もけっこう出たので、昨夜はゆっくり休みましたか？くれぐれも風邪を引かないように、しっかり体調管理をしてね。

バーベキューはとりあえず終わったが、105のイベントはこれからまだまだあるよ！暇があったら気軽に立ち寄って一緒に遊ぼう！

【ATTENTION】BBQ has been postponed to July 10th (SUN)

We are so sorry to inform you that BBQ on Saturday has been cancelled due to bad weather.
Instead, we are going to hold the party on Sunday.

  皆さん、こにちは、お元気ですか。

　恒例的に今年の7月にも105はBBQを開催します！

　夏の気配がしていますか。なので、夏にBBQ をやることは最高ではないですか。

  BBQだけではなくスポーツ大会と楽しいレクリェーションも用意しておりますので、これ以上、夏を迎える方法がないですね。そうしたら、BBQに友達も誘い、楽しみにしてください。ただし、ハラールフードも用意しております。

場所　中央広場－通称野音（中央図書館の向い）

 ※雨天の場合は、翌日の10日(日)に延期します！

  In July 9^th ,We 105 hold a BBQ party as we do every year!

  Can you feel the summer is coming now ? It’s best time in a year to have a BBQ together ! Not only, BBQ but we also play sports and some fun Japan games to refresh all your hot bodies. I’m sure that it will be the best way to welcome the summer, so let go your friend go together and stay tuned for BBQ. By the way, we also prepare Halal food, too.

【サークル・部活動に入りませんか？】

留学生の皆さんも、サークル・部活動に入ることができます！

国際教育センター105は、学生スタッフが、みなさんがサークルに入るのをお手伝いします！横浜国立大学には、スポーツ部から音楽系の団体まで様々なサークルがあります。この活動を通して、同じ趣味を持つ友達を作ることはもちろん、授業では学べない、集団での行動の仕方や、文化などを学ぶことができます。

〔部活動、サークルとは？〕

どちらも、同じ趣味を持つ生徒同士で運営される団体です。

しかしこの大学には、大きく分けて２つのタイプの団体があります。

(1)部活動：休みなしで毎日活動していることが多い。厳しい。大会で優勝するなどの目標を持って活動している。

(2)サークル／研究会：部活動と基本的には同じだが、部活動ほど厳しくなく、楽しむことを優先している場合が多い。

〔日本語に自信がないが、入会できるか。〕

ほとんどのサークル、部活動では日常会話レベルの日本語力が求められています。しかし、メンバーに通訳のできる人がいる場合は、日本語に自信がなくても大丈夫です。

〔どうすれば入会できるか。〕

もし興味のある場合は、まず国際教育センター内２階の105へ来てください。希望を聞いた後に、サークルを紹介します。その後、サークルを見学しに行き（105メンバーが付き添うこともできます。）、入会するかどうかを決めてもらいます。※日本語レベルなどの事情により、入れない場合もあります。

さらに、詳しい情報は国際教育センター２階、事務室隣の105まで。

【Why don`t you join in club activities?】

International students can join them as well!

We, 105 is willing to help you with joining clubs or circles! There are various kinds of clubs in YNU, ranged from sporting clubs to music clubs, which are managed by students. What can’t be learnt in classes can be learn through these extra curricular activities. Learn more about the Japanese society and culture and make heaps of friends.

[What is the difference between clubs and circles?]
They are both run by students and have a specific activity to do, however not much difference between the two.
(1)Clubs, teams: They are generally said to be strict in that they have a meeting almost every day without day off. Also, they usually have an aim to win prizes or achieve something.
(2)Circles: They are similar to clubs but members are not always forced to attend every day. They are more likely to prioritize pleasure in the activities.

[I`m not confident with my Japanese language skills.]
Most of the clubs require the level that you can have daily conversation in Japanese, however some of them allow you to join even though you can`t speak Japanese very well, if they have a member who can interpret what you say. As for this issue, please consult staffs in 105.

[How can I participate?]
Once you got interested in the activities, please contact 105, Then we will ask you a wish and provide you with information of them. Then, if you like, we take you to the activities. After that, you can decide whether enrol in it or not.

【Notice】
Move of our location

We, room 105, are moving from our current location (1st floor of ISC) to the 2nd floor next semester. Our new site will be infront of the office on the second floor. Due to this move, our room will be scaled down, but we will operate as normal.

こんにちは、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
私たち105は来学期から、２階へ場所を移動して活動します。移動先は事務室の横になる予定です。この移動に伴い部屋は少し小さくなってしまいますが、変わらず活動していく予定です。今後ともよろしくお願いします！

Time and Place: in YNU Gymnasium from 16:30 until 18:00 (5th period), Friday, November 27th.

*Outdoor shoes are not allowed inside the gymnasium, therefore you have to bring indoor shoes, or even barefoot is okay!

Looking forward to make some headshot in Dodgeball and Super Dunk in Basketball!
